The Preparation
Marinate wings in buttermilk overnight in the refrigerator.
Mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Remove wings from buttermilk and dredge in seasoned flour.
Heat oil to 350-375°F in a heavy pot.
Fry wings in batches for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
Drain on a wire rack and serve with dipping sauces.
