Toasted baguette piled with a warm, cheesy artichoke topping broiled until golden and bubbly.
6 steps, about 23 minutes start to finish.
Preheat oven broiler.
Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Toast under the broiler 1-2 minutes until lightly golden. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the artichoke hearts, red onion, garlic, mayonnaise, cream cheese, and all cheeses. Season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spoon a generous mound of the artichoke mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
Return to the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes until the topping is bubbly, hot, and golden brown on top.
Serve immediately.
“Toast the baguette slices before topping so they hold up under the cheesy artichoke mix. Watch the broiler closely at the end, since it turns from golden to burnt in seconds.”
