Crispy beer-battered jalapeno rings fried golden for a spicy, crunchy bite.
6 steps, about 20 minutes start to finish.
Heat oil to 350°F.
Make beer batter same as for fried pickles.
Slice jalapeños into rings and remove seeds and membrane for less heat.
Dip jalapeño rings in batter.
Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Drain on paper towels and serve.
“Get the oil to a steady 350 so the beer batter crisps fast instead of soaking up grease. Seed and devein the rings for a milder bite, since that's where the heat lives.”
