The Preparation
Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Press into thin patties sized to fit slider buns.
Cook patties on a hot griddle or skillet over medium-high heat, smashing them flat, about 2 minutes per side.
Add American cheese and allow to melt.
Split slider buns and toast the cut sides in butter.
Spread Big Mac Sauce on both bun halves.
Layer bottom bun with lettuce, diced onion, pickle chips, and a cheese-covered patty.
Add top bun and serve immediately.
