The Preparation

Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, and salt.

Add shredded cheddar cheese and toss to coat.

Stir in the melted butter until crumbly, then add buttermilk and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.

Drop dough by large spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 450°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

While biscuits bake, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley for the topping.
