The Preparation

Blanch fresh green beans in salted boiling water for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Shock green beans in ice bath to stop cooking.

Combine blanched green beans with mushroom cream sauce in a baking dish.

Top with homemade fried onions.

Bake at 350F for 25 minutes covered.

Remove cover and bake an additional 5 minutes until onions are crispy on top.
