    Butter a baking dish (9-inch round or equivalent).

    Arrange apple and pear slices in an even layer in the dish.

    Whisk together eggs, flour, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth batter forms.

    Pour batter over the fruit.

    Bake 40 to 45 minutes until puffed, golden, and set in the center.

    Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with brown sugar whipped cream.
