The Preparation
Beat softened butter until fluffy.
Mix masa harina with water to form a paste, then add to butter and mix.
Process roasted corn until chunky (not pureed).
Add corn to the butter mixture.
Mix in cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk.
Pour into a baking dish.
Bake in a water bath, covered, at 350°F for 1 hour.
