The Preparation
Make cookie dough: cream 1 cup butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, mix in sour cream
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and cornstarch; add to wet mixture
Make glaze: melt 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup brown sugar
Spoon glaze into muffin tin or onto baking sheet
Place pineapple ring on top of glaze, add maraschino cherry in center
Scoop cookie dough on top of pineapple
Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes
Flip while warm so pineapple side is up
