The Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs one at a time
Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cornstarch
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk
Add lemon juice and vanilla
Pour into greased cake pans
Bake until done
Cool and frost
